    How do I know if I have used the Overdraft Protection Plan?

    For customers using the Home Equity or Overdraft Line of Credit, your statement will reflect the activity including fees and interest rate costs. Online Statement users will receive an email to the email address we have on file. Your statement will reflect both the monthly and year-to-date totals of overdraft and NSF fees charged for paid and returned items.

    Our Standard Overdraft Service

    Checks/Automatic Transactions:

    • We may pay checks or automatic transactions that are presented in the event you do not have sufficient funds.
    • If we pay the check, you avoid the merchant’s returned check fee and stay in good standing with the people with whom you do business.
    • With this service, you would pay an overdraft or NSF fee for each transaction when you don’t have enough funds in your account.

    ATM/Everyday Debit Card Transactions:

    • We may pay these types of transactions in the event you do not have sufficient funds.
    • If customers elect this option, ATM/everyday debit card transactions may be honored if they do not have enough funds in their account.
    • Customers must “opt-in” or agree before we provide this service in regards to ATM/everyday debit cards transactions.
    • With this service, you would pay an overdraft fee for each ATM/everyday debit card transaction when you don’t have enough funds in your account.

    Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, or you are not making regular deposits, or you have too many overdrafts.

    The fees for overdrafts created by check, in-person withdrawal, ATM withdrawal, or other electronic means are as follows:

    Overdrafts

    • At our discretion we may pay overdrafts caused by check or automatic transactions. Also, if you elect to opt-in, we may pay overdrafts caused by ATM / everyday debit card transactions.
    • You must immediately bring your account to a positive balance.
    • $39 per paid item
    • $6 per business day after 3rd consecutive business day of overdraft

    Non-Sufficient Funds

    At our discretion we may return your check or automatic payment without paying it.

    • $39 per returned item
    • $6 per business day after 3rd consecutive business day of overdraft

    *The bank will charge overdraft fees on up to 4 items per day on consumer accounts. Also, if your account is overdrawn for 3 or more consecutive business days, we will charge an additional extended overdraft fee of $6 per business day.
